The international competition recognizing achievements in shrink, stretch, and ROSO sleeving, the AWA Sleeve Label Awards — now in its third year —  is open for entries until January 27, 2017.   Entries are invited from all participants in this dynamic value chain, from designers, film producers, printers/converters, to end users and brand owners. 

Awards will be presented in four categories:  heat shrink TD sleeves, stretch sleeves, roll-fed MD shrink sleeves, and sleeves of any type which deliver a special environmental contribution.   In addition, all class winners will automatically be entered for recognition as the outstanding entry overall —  as the Best Sleeve Label of 2017. Last year’s “Best Sleeve Label” trophy was awarded by the judges to Texas-based McDowell Label & Screen Printing for its production of labels for JWOWW Mad Hot Tingle Bronzer.

Selected by an independent judging panel of industry experts, the 2017 winners will be announced  at a special awards ceremony during the AWA International Sleeve Label Conference & Exhibition to be held in Miami, Florida, USA on April 5-7, 2017.
